FP&A and acquisition reporting

I built FP&A infrastructure and integrated five acquisitions into organic and pro forma reporting, working with the CFO, executives, Kelso, and ARA.

Sponsor recognition

Kelso recognized the Monthly Reporting Package as best-in-portfolio. ARA adopted the Value Creation Plan KPI package as a model for other portfolio companies.

Weekly utilization reporting helped leadership manage utilization and labor margin. I directed an external Power BI team to automate it and supported board reporting, lender diligence, and recurring lender reporting.

AI tools and workflows

I built an AI-assisted Power BI dashboard for business development resource allocation and reusable workflows for QoE rollforwards, backlog analysis, and reporting commentary.

Finance buildout and growth funding

I built the finance function, hired a controller, and led budgeting, reporting, cost management, and margin analysis through 823% revenue growth over two years. A 13-week cash forecast anticipated receivables funding needs and seasonal liquidity troughs.

I negotiated an $8M invoice financing facility to bridge tutor payroll and school-district collections, reducing projected interest expense by approximately $2M and limiting equity dilution.

Board reporting and integration tracking

I led global board reporting following the Thoma Bravo acquisition, covering KPIs, consolidated performance, and integration progress. I built cross-functional synergy tracking with departmental cost and savings targets to monitor progress against pro forma EBITDA improvement goals.

A three-year model connected quota budgets, bookings forecasts, and pro forma metrics.

Acquisition sourcing and underwriting

I evaluated 135+ opportunities and sourced and led the acquisition of a precision timing products manufacturer, underwriting customer-concentration risk and helping shape its international expansion strategy.

The investment achieved 3.8× MOIC at its 2023 exit, after my tenure.

Acquisition diligence

For a separate precision components opportunity, I built the acquisition financing model, coordinated lenders, and conducted diligence that supported the decision not to proceed.
